using HP Pavilion G5418uk Desktop PC running win 7 64 bit sp1, it has a 2nd internal HD, I am getting a warning that this 2nd hd is getting ready to fail so looking to replace it, error message says ‘Health has deteriated; health 78%, performance 62%’ paperwork says os hd is SATA, does that mean that 2nd hd will also be SATA? all help and advice appreciated.

Hi Conrail,Most modern hard drives used in home PCs now are SATA. Just make sure you replace it with a HDD with "High" RPM. Aim for one with 7200 rpm. You can Also go for a Solid State disk, The offer faster access speed but are a lot more expensive.
