Using mouse as opposed to touch screen

I,m cosidering XPS 17 laptop but it has touch screen.Are there any problems using mouse as a replacement.I do not hanker touch screen Thanks Ian

Yes you can but I believe that the touch screen is optional for the XPS 17 laptop.

No,Dell have re released XPS 17 online with touchscreen.That is why as a mouse supporter & AOP to boot,I would be happy to continue using a mouse.Thank you for your response.Very kind
