Every 2-3 days my recycle bin empties. Its maximum size is set to 16759 MB. I cannot find any maintenance programmes set to do this. Can anyone help?

Are you saying that you want to increase the size of the recycle bin?
Right click on the bin, click on Properties - General - you can adjust the maximum size if you wish.
To turn off the delete confirmation dialog box, clear the Display delete confirmation dialog check box.
To immediately remove files from your computer when you delete them, click Do not move files to the Recycle Bin. If you do this, your files will always be permanently removed when deleted.
