Hello... I had a problem with Win7 not starting and the local shop I bought my computer from performed a Win7 reinstallation. I've just noticed a change in Disk Managagment which I'd appreciate clarification on.
I'm running Win 7 Home Premium (64-bit)/TWO hard drives each 500Gb/8Gb of RAM, I also have TWO DVD-Rewriters...
PREVIOUS TO REINSTALLATION, DISK MANAGAMENT SHOWED AS:
Disc 0: System Reserved 100Mb + D: drive (System, Active, Primary Partition)
Disc 1: C: Drive - (Boot, Page File, Crash Dump, Primary Partition)
AFTER REINSTALLATION:
Disc 0:
System Reserved 100Mb NTFS : Healthy (System, Active, Primary Partition) + D:drive - Healthy (Primary Partiton)
Disc 1:
C: Healthy (Boot, Page File,Active, Crash Dump,Primary Partition)
Note that 'System' now appears in 'System Reserved' partition
Does that change look 'right' to you?
If not, how do I go about altering things?
Many thanks

Wait for others to comment more fully, but neither the before or after looks right to me. I would think Disk 0 should hold the C: and Disk 1 should be D:

I'm running Win 7 64 bit in the same configuration as you and my disks show up in Computer Management the same as yours in "after reinstallation", with the exception that Disk 0 is "E" and Disk 1 is "C".
Disk "E" is simply a backup disk of "C". On my machine "D" is the DVD drive.
