In March I posted the following: Used Mailwasher successfully for years. Now have a Windows 7 laptop and Mailwasher Free v.6.5.4. refuses to allow the laptop to shut down without a force close. All is OK if I remember to close Mailwasher before activating computer shut down. How can I get the computer to close Mailwasher on normal shut down?
I continue to have this problem. Not sure if it Mailwasher or Windows 7. Can anyone help please?

Did you try to do a Mailwasher repair by going into all programmes? You may have to go to uninstall before you are presented with the repair option.
I believe that if you have Live Messenger running at the same time it can cause this problem.
All other posts I have read on the same topic say you have to close Mailwasher first.
