microsoft visual c++ runtime error libary

hi, im trying to open a pdf document but my computer keeps displaying this message program c:\program files (x86)\internet explorer\iexplore.exe.I am using windows 7.It shutsdown and attempts this procedure twice before closing window.

Are you using Adobe Acrobat Reader and have you updated it?

Do you have a .pdf Reader program installed? such as Adobe Acrobat Reader or Foxit Reader (they are both free programs)
