my pc has a critical virus

My pc has a critical virus i cant clear it as i try to remove it windows shuts the computer down

I have been looking at the AVG rescue disk that you run on start-up but you will still need to know what files to delete/rename so I suggest you should join a specialist malware removal forum to clear your virus in case any auto removal software does more damage.

There are specialists at Bleeping Computer and

Malwareremoval to name but two. It will take some time but if you have no backups then will be worth it. Let us know how you get on. Good luck.

I should add that whichever site you use just stick to the one for help as it will be an on going process.
