Lexmark Pro905 printer

I have been very disappointed to discover that this two-tray printer does not consistently allow printing to be directed to the second tray despite that option being chosen in print setup. The second tray can be accessed in applications such as Wordpad (when during the print process one has the option to click "Apply") or in printing screen prints from web pages. However, when using application software or Office Suite products the first tray always receives the print job despite the second tray being selected.

Lexmark Tech support, with which there are communication challenges, has been no help. Has anybody else experienced this or have a recommendation?

Could the answers shown here possibly be the reason, ie. - MS Office in use? TC.
