Microphone problem

I have just updated to Windows 7 from Vista. I am now unable to hear my recordings when using Skype Echo testing. I have gone to control panel to check settings and the speakers are fine. How do I check the microphone? Any idea is appreciated...Thanks

Your problem may be within SKYPE - make sure you have the latest version installed. Open Skype - Call Tab - Audio Settings - make any adjustments to your microphone from there.
