Transparent browser

Hi all After system restore the desktop shows through at the top and the bottom of my browser while surfing , while it is not a great problem I would like to return it to how it was before. Can anyone help please?

You can turn off transparency from Control Panel/Appearance and Personalisation/Windows Color and Appearance and then untick the box Enable Transparency. You can also get to this by right clicking on the Desktop, click on Personalsise and then clicking on Window Color.
