Search results close

When I do a search and select a result the rest of the search results disappear, meaning I have to do the search again and again until I find the result I want. In XP the results stayed displayed.

Anyone know how this can be resolved?

Are you sure that the results page disappears? If I run a search, then open one of the files on the results page, the search results window remains open behind the window displaying the file that I've just opened. If I close the file, the search results page appears again.

Afraid not! Have checked your suggestion a few times, including looking at the multiple windows on the bottom taskbar [a really useful feature] - but not working for me???????????????
