Can't see Promise SATA with W 7 on MSI K9A2 platinum MB

I have just migrated from an XP 32bit system to a w7 64 bit system. I have configured the promise SATA as RAID and Non RAID. The Bios recognises the two discs that are mounted but Windows does not show them.
W7 also shows that there is no driver installed for the RAID and when asked cannot find a driver
I did not have any problems with the XP installation

I had a similar problem and the following worked:
A.Right click the Computer or My Computer icon and select Manage.
B.Click the plus (+) sign next to Storage if it is not already expanded.
C.Click Disk Management.
D.Right click the icon for the Hard Drive and click Change Drive Letter and Path.
E.Click the Edit button
F.Next to Assign a drive letter, select an unused drive letter from the drop-down menu.
G.Click OK.
H.A message appears that states 'Changing the drive letter of a volume may cause programs to no longer run. Are you sure you want to change the drive letter?'
I.Click Yes.
J.Restart the computer. (Not always necessary)
K.Double click the Computer or My Computer to see if the Iomega Hard Drive is detected.

David, thanks for your suggestion. Unfortunately this part of windows is also unable to see the hard drives so your suggested fix will not work.
For anyone who has had this problem, the closest that I can get to a solution is to modify the Promise drivers which never achieved Microsoft approval for 64 bit windows 7 professional. a little beyond me.
