updates problem.

These three updates refuse to install,anyone know if there is a workaround?

Security Update for Internet Explorer 8 for Windows 7 (KB974455)

Security Update for Windows 7 (KB975467)

Update for Windows 7 (KB974431)

have you tried them one at a time in the order that they were released?apologies if you have tried that.

No I hadn't tried that and I should have thought of it myself.Thanks.

I gave up on it and swapped an image I had which was on an IDE hdd and that took all the updates without any problem unlike the sata drive.

So I thought that was the end of it, how wrong was I. all I have done is installed 5 pieces of software, 7zip,foxit.office 2007, google earth,my 2 digital cameras,a video camera,a htc phone, epson printer, cannon printer,then took another image, rebooted BSOD every 5-10 minutes, not the same error code twice.
So am reinstalling for the third and final time before I go back to XP or Vista.
