Hi
Just wondering how everyones finding user account control in Windows 7.
I hate it just as much as Vista's version, if not more. At least it could be set to silent mose (with a tweak) now I've totally disabled it as it irritates the hell out of me.
Why can't it learn instead of prompts EVERY time a certain program is run?
In its place I use Comodo Internet Security with Pro active Defense + enabled. This is similar to UAC only its more thorough. It queries almost every program not on a whitelist on first execution but then remembers your response and does not pester you again. Why couldn't Microsoft have implemented something like that.
I'd be interested to hear some other opinions.
Thanks

I find it very annoying as well. As you say it doesn't learn and I've turned mine off too. I used Norton UAC on Vista which worked a treat but as far as I know there isn't a version for Win 7 yet.
