Win 7 License query

I purchased Win 7 Home Premium from Play.com.

Can I install it on my laptop now and when I purchase a new PC remove it from the laptop and install it on the new machine?

I can physically do it but wonder about the legality of it.

Cheers.

but you may run up against the Microsoft wall when you try to validate the second installation online, and be forced to speak to a human being to explain why you're trying the second activation.

People who buy the Home premium family pack can install the software on up to three machines, which reduces the cost per machine considerably.

Thanks FE; I've found the MS activation people most helpful when re-installing XP on previous machines and I am sure they will be equally polite with Windows 7 queries.

I just wanted to be sure that what I was doing would be legal; otherwise I would be content to leave XP on my laptop.
