Question about the Upgrade Version of Win 7

if i buy the upgrade version ( click here)

will i be able to do a clean install? or can i only install after having Vista or XP installed first?

My computer didnt come with a Vista CD, it has a built in recovery program

If you have Vista installed,you have the choice of an upgrade or a clean install
