Hi,I have a new pc on order ( pcspecialist ) with With Windows 7 professional 64 bit pre-installed. My old pc runs XP home sp3 32 bit, and I have just run file & transfer wizard onto a external hard drive.
The big question is will I be able to retrieve the back up from the external hard drive, and what will be the best way to achieve this ( I assume W7 pro has a version of file & transfer wizard ) . Will 32 bit > 64 bit cause any problems.
cheers Sunways........

as the transfer wizard is for your data and settings i would assume that it would make no difference whetehr it is going to a 32 bit or 64 bit new p/c
