Winj 7 upgrade version

An upgrade to Windows 7 is being sold on Amazon

This is shown as for Vista. I have XP sp3 and am thinking of upgrading as a check shows my machine will be OK. Will this version also work as an upgrade for Win XP or is there another version to come out.

You cannot directly upgrade from XP to Win7, you have to do a fresh install. click here

Thanks....Might as well get the full version and install from scratch. Can't see the point of the upgrade version for other thyan Vista.
