Its' no secret that a lot of Forum users are finding Windows7 has loads of extremely good points..I found this little gem that helps make the taskbar even more functional..See what you think...click here

As Crossbow says..It's similar to XP Quick Launch....and yes...I've tried it and its fine.It isn't resource hungry and it does the job.
The taskbar in Windows 7 is fine..but I have a relative who occasionaly uses my PC when visiting us.... and he has some visual impairment and the enhanced taskbar functions help him a lot.
Having said that..I find it very handy too!
