I don't see what all the fuss is about if you want to use something else then download and use it, as I said in another thread what about all the big names like HP, Dell etc and all the crap they pre-load on machines.

You think it will be cheaper to purchase win 7 because there is no IE 8 when u can download it for free? I will stick to xp as long as possible !!

Good. Another reason I hope to be able to afford Win 7 when it's available retail.

While IE has not caused any problems with this installation of Win 7 (I've never used it) its various incarnations have caused me many, some major, problems in the past.
