On booting up my PC if I am not around to select Vista, Windows 7 will boot, can I change the boot sequence so vista is the first choice and automatically boots unless I've selected Windows 7.
Thanks.

Go to the Windows Orb (Start), type msconfig and press Enter. Go to the Boot Tab, highlight Vista and click Make default.

Although msconfig allows changes to defaults, it is limited in what it can do. Boot.ini has been replaced by bootmgr in Vista and Win7. You may like to know how to change/backup other aspects of the boot process. Here are three programs that will allow you to do exactly that:
1. Bcdedit comes with the system click here
2. Download VistaBootPro click here
3. Download EasyBCD, scroll down to the bottom click here
