onto an old spare computer with 20GB hard drive,
Duron 1100 cpu, radion graphics with 64Mb memory,
512Mb DDR memory,i have installed Windows 7 RC.
it works very good,i am looking forward to October
and perchasing the final release to install on my main Vista Ultimate computer, which is dual booted with Ubuntu

I installed on daughters machine with only 750meg of ram and was a bit sluggish so today went out and bought 1gig stick which I put in with 512meg stick and has made a big difference.

Sempron 2600+ Gforce fX5200 256meg 2 hard drives 80Gig with OS and applications and 120Gig with data now with 1.5Gig ram works quite well.

Minimum system requirements for Windows 7.

* 1GHz processor (32- or 64-bit)
* 1GB of main memory
* 16GB of available disk space
* Support for DX9 graphics with 128MB of memory (for the Aero interface)
* A DVD-R/W drive
