Hi.
After a succesful instal of win 7, i have found that the mouse pointer freezes on the screen after about 5 seconds of inactivity, i can workaround this by pressing any of the buttons on the mouse to make it work again, but this is very inconvenient.
Is there a way of turning off this feature?

My mouse is a cyprus USB mouse and win 7 recognises it, in your case, what drivers need to be updated, because device manager shows all is well with the mouse.

The power management setting in the device manager for mouse was defaulted to turning the mouse of to save power.
after unticking this box, it all works well now
