Failed Install

I've put RC on to my PC with no issues, but am struggling with the laptop.

It says that the CD/DVD Device Driver is missing, please insert driver CD and click ok.

Here's the problem; it's a bog standard SATA CD/DVD drive and there are no device drivers that shouldn't already be contained in the W7 catalogue. I don't have accessibility to an alternative DVD drive for a laptop.

I figured that to get round this I would install from USB memory stick but can't find a way to get the ISO to extract burn to anything but a DVD. Does anyone have any ideas on how to progress?

The error you’re getting is quite common and has nothing to do with a driver. Turn off your AV and then burn the DVD at a slower speed.
