Setting mouse to single click.

As the title says, how do you set the mouse to open programs with a single click instead of a double click.

Open any folder, choose "Organize", from the drop-down menu choose "Folder and Search Options" and, in the "General" tab, click on the "Single-click to open an item" radio button.

I forgot to add, click on "apply" then "OK".
