General question but W7 related

I have been running W7 on my hack PC and now I would like to try it on my current PC.
I have 2 SATA HDD's fitted - (C) and (G).
I would like to install W7 on to (G) as a fresh install (there is nothing on (G) I want to keep).
I think I can go about the installation but I am wondering how the dual-boot system works?
Once installed and on PC boot, will I be given the option which system to boot?
