Windows 7 Product Editions Announced

Thankfully it seems for most it will boil down to a choice between Home Premium and Professional.
Also it appears an upgrade from XP is not supported, XP users can only "upgrade" by performing a clean install of Windows 7.
Microsoft will not support an in-place upgrade but there will be utilities to smooth the process and get data transferred over easily.

they will be 5 versions of 7 and 4 of them can be bought by your average Joe Soap.
