Kaspersky preview for Windows 7

Has anyone else installed the Kaspersky technical preview for Windows 7? I'm running it, and it appears to work well. However, I've read that some people say the software has an impact on their PC's overall performance. Anyone experienced this?

I loaded Kasperspy on Vista (as my new PC came packaged with it) and despite swearing at the machine for several days I couldn't get it on my network.It also crashed games and degraded the PC performance noticably so was removed.For these reasons,I wont be trying Kasperspy on any other machine.
