Is this laptop good for gaming?

Just bought for £800 second hand and just wondered if it was worth it its and Alienware M15x and i dont mean games like pacman, im thinking more battlefield on high settings?

Can you provide a link to the exact laptop as there seem to be various M15X models? Is it the 9659?

I am assuming you mean Battlefield 3 and yes you should be able to play that on high settings.

You'll be able to run it. Not very well at a resolution of 1920x1080 and especially not at high settings.
