system requirements

Hi, On occasions in the past I have bought a game for my pc and it advises minimum system requirements which conform to my pc spec, but when I play the game I find that it is just not up to scratch performance wise, even when I reduce the games gameplay on my options. Is there a site that I can relate to that can enter my pc and confirm that it will play with my specifications? Thank you

There are a few on the web, just Google "will my pc run it"

"minimum system requirements" are exactly that, only a bare minimum that will run the game. You need a system which is at least up to the "recommended system requirements" to see reasonable game performance.
