Gaming Laptop need help

Just wanted to know if this would be a good laptop for games for my son . Don't know alot about laptop The price is £699... I don't know if the question was answered elsewhere but all the specs on the laptop exceed my tower desktop which runs modern games fine however I don't recognise the graphics device - sadly though for a gaming laptop graphics is key. I think it's an integrated device and these things are less good for modern games. Might run older games fine but I suspect you'd run new games on low resolution if at all.
(I may be wrong - I can only find a few reviews of the Intel® HD Graphics 3000)

If you're going to be playing games look into Alienware's lineup. Dell acquired them. Look for a dedicated video card, meaning that it is not integrated and it doesn't share memory with the system. Also, make sure you get at least 4GB of RAM. 8GB would be ideal though, especially if you are running the latest 3D games.
