Playing XBOX Live on line...

There are apparently 3 or 4 ways to connect the XBOX to your PC. I want to know a few things...

(1) - When it's connected to the PC are you still seeing it on the TV and playing it with the XBOX wireless handset?

(2) - Regarding the extra downloadable content (DLC). It says you can download this to a disk or a Flash Drive. So do you still need your XBOX to be connected to the PC to do this?

If you don't need the XBOX connected for this action, can you get the DLC direct from the games makers website?

(3) - All the ways they tell you to connect the XBOX involve connecting it to a Modem/router. Eccept for the wireless connection. For this, they say you have to buy a wireless connection from them.

I have a wireless/router, thw both myself and my wife connect to wirelessly. Could I not just plug the XBOX into the laptop and go on line wirelessly?
