Good places to visit in Second Life

I tentatively became a SL visitor recently and apart from randomly teleporting to possible interesting locations and then being disappointed, I have yet to really understand what its all about.

I enjoy the music of an American band called Journey ( click here ) who have an SL presence which is really good, assuming you like their music, but other than that I find it all a bit odd.

So has anyone got any good suggestions of places to visit, there are supposed to be areas where you can play games?
