Yes you can buy PCs with M$ Office (Various Varieties) pre-installed. The software will cost you about 2/3rds the price of a Stand Alone copy.

However your copy is tied to that PC and cannot be transferred to another PC at a later date.

Most computers come with Office as a trial - you have to pay for it after the trial ends.

You can install a free office suite that will work on most Office files.

I believe that you can also get Word & Excel for Free but you have to put up with Advertising

Why not use a FREE office package like Fre office software

This will read all Microsoft office files and costs nothing. It may not have all the bells and whistles of a full office program, but it will do the job.
