Laws and wi-fi and illegal downloading

Hello
I have business with free wi-fi for customers and they have to obtain the key to use the internet.
My question is, Is there a way i stop people using our wi-fi to download illegal music/films ?
I am concerned as i believe that as the provider of the wi-fi we would be held responsible for any illegal activity and we would be fined. Is there anything i can do or is it possible just to get the users to sign a disclaimer ?
If you could give me any suggestions or advice it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance for any help.
