BT Business Hub Security

My neice has a BT Business Hub. I have set it up via an ethernet cable.

Questions:

1. How do I check her security status, i.e WEP or WPA , if any.

2. Partner wants to use the hub to connect to the internet using an XBox wirless dongle (or similar), instructions please how this can be achieved.
