Programme to calculate interest

I am Hon Treasurer for a small club. We have several loans from members which we have used to ptovide new facilities. We pay interest on these loans on a yearly basis at 1% above bank rate. I have microsoft office 2007. Is there a free programme which I could use to calculate the interest payable?

Alternatively Google will enable you to find many free templates to use in Excel.
