Couple of Exchange questions

I'm running an Exchange server at home on SBS and at the moment I'm signed up for the Microsoft AV/antimalware/spam filtering trial that installs with it. However, unless I'm missing something, I can't see a way to manage the spam filter myself: I'm on a couple of mailing lists that can sometimes generate 100 or so legit emails a day, not all of which are making it to my Exchange inbox. Can anyone recommend a third-party option that gives me power over whitelisting; or alternatively tell me how to do that with the MS One Care?
My other question is: I'm routing my outbound email through the smarthost provided by my ISP, Be, but it's not ideal - Be seems to have issues with its smtp server and I often find mail is delayed reaching its destination. Does anyone know of another smarthost I can use?
thanks, folks

it bears out what others have told me. Here's hoping it all runs smoothly. Now all you have to worry about is server outages.

Thanks for the suggestion, ajm. I've gone with Arrowmail, which I'm very impressed with: they have come up with a tailored package for me.

I also have a server running SBS 2003 R2. For outbound emails, i use the services of authsmtp. click here
With regards to the SPAM, when I download my emails on Outlook 2007 on the laptop/desktop, I have SPAMFIGHTER and MS JUNK Filter do the work. I have a look in these span folders and unblock emails that have been passed on as spam

Thanks for the link, Peter, that looks promising. I'm using Exchange 07 on SBS 08. I found this click here on the excellent David Overton blog and I've done the tweak but so far (mind you, it's only been a couple of hours) nothing is showing up in the quarantine inbox, including the test email I sent to the mailing list.

These people are email specialists, and I know several people who are very pleased with the service.
With regard to the whitelist question, which version of Exchange server are you running?
