Samsung Kies with Galaxy S

Hi I cant seem to synch my Galaxy S with Kies, we also have and Ace and that works fine, and suggestions for a fix?

Have you tried on a different computer. My Apollo wouldn't sync on a W7 64 bit PC but did so on a XP notebook! I can't offer any explanation but changing PC worked.
