Anyone with knowledge of Samsung Galaxy Y Mobile Phone?

While in Argos yesterday evening, I went out of limb and purchased a Samsung Galaxy Y (young) mobile telephone.

Just going through the limited instructions, and was wondering of any 'essential' applications that I should think of installing. Security yes, but what else?.

Also, if you own or have used one of these Samsung Galaxy, any suggestions or advice to get optimum value, bearing in mind that I am an 'emergency user' in the main. No gaming etc.

Appreciations gladly given for any responses.
