Dual 3g sim phone questions

Hi All.
I just wanted to ask if anyone knew of any possible issues/problems that could/would be caused by using a dual sim phone with two 3g sim cards.
I am a little wary of buying a phone which accepts two 3g cards because, from what I have seen on the web (which is not much), I have only found about three Samsung phones that can accept two 3g sims and have noticed that Samsung have made all of their other dual sim phones compatible with just one 3g sim and one 2g sim. Was there a reason Samsung did not carry on with two 3g sim phones? Was there a known issue or problem? I have come across various comments about dual sim phones on websites such as
"The 3g sim card would attempt to grab both lines causing the mobile to constantly crash."
and
"Running two 3G radios simultaneously would be quite taxing on the power supply."
I have also seen comments about being charged by the network when the phone uses the wrong sim!
Any opinions or advice would be appreciated before I spend the money.
Thanks.
