how to download application on Samsung Star3

Hi my daughter got a Samsung Star3 but I cannot download applications like games as while getting the file to install the programm a warning message pops up about the page being too large for being opened. I've even tried too expand the memery with an external card but still I'm unable to reach the result. Any suggestion? many thanks in advance fabrizio
