galaxy note camera fault problem

The camera on my galaxy note gt n7000 has become inconsistent.Sometimes the images are fine but sometimes when i try to view them I get either a "failed" message or an icon that is blach with a greyed head and a lightning flash on the right hand top corner.Sometimes when I drag the images across the screen the faulty ones show just for a moment then disappear. Photos that are working work all the time although a couple have half the image chopped off. Also some of the images that refuse to display become visible in the google plus upload screen( before uploading) but won't show when they've been uploaded.
