Windows Phone 7.5 Sync Advice Please

Hi, I recently, sadly, upgraded from an HTC HD2 which synchronised perfectly with WMDC and my Outlook 2010 contacts, emails, calendars and tasks. I had my sub-folders in my emails and all was sweet. Then I upgraded to the new Lumia 800 which, it states, synchronises fully with Outlook. In my opinion Microsoft has lost the plot. I need to use Skydrive cloudy thing and set up a Hotmail email account and other such inane systems.

Has anyone got any information regarding independent software apps which would allow me to sync as my tasks, emails, incl sub-folders, calendars etc as before. Cheers for any help. LePaul
