Three Ireland mobile broadband charges

Being a frequent traveller between Eire and the UK I have a 3 Irish PAYG broadband Sim, which I use in my computer vie WWAN.(3 Ireland lets you use your allowance on any three network abroad)
At first I had no problem around Liverpool. In Scotland, despite my being logged onto 3 UK, I started getting charged EU Roaming rates. I contacted 3 and they showed O2 roaming. I bit the bullet on this and thought it was me being careless. So I logged on again, selected 3 network and they drained my cash reserve, about 70 euros, even though I had 18 gb credit.once again they presented a usage document showing o2 roaming.
I am still in discussions with them but am wondering if anyone else has experienced this.
Strangely I am now in the London area and with no cash credit it is using my gb balance.
Ta in advance
