Ipad and emails

Hi I have an F2S email address and can access this on my desktop with no problems. I now have an Ipad and used the same settings to set up the email account. I can receive emails ok but unable to send. I am trying to send an email to hotmail account and it takes about 20 minutes before a message pops up stating that the mail can not be sent "The connection to the outgoing server outmail.f2s.com failed. Additional outgoing mail servers can be configured in Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars. No idea what this is all about. Any help would be most helpful.

How is the iPad connecting to the net? Wireless at home, 3G or wireless away from home?

Hi It is connected via wireless @ home. I am using TalkTalk or whatever it is called this week as the broadband provider Thanks for the help. I looked @ the link and all the settings seem to be in order

If wireless at home then suggest you use the same outgoing settings as on the desktop.
