Orange Sydney phone

I bought an Orange Sydney phone on Friday.According to the Orange website it's got Android 2.2,yet on other forums etc it says the phone isn't Android.

Can anyone please tell me who is correct,is it Android or not?Many thanks in advance.

It's not. I can't see any reference on the Orange site to this phone having an Android operating system, and at that price I would be very surprised if it had.

Thank you FE,I know that up until Saturday the phone was shown on the Orange shop site as having Android 2.2 but as you say,there's now no mention of it.

Perhaps that is as a result of me emailing their customer service department with the same query,and they realised their mistake?Or is it just me being cynical?

I will tick as resolved now.
