HTC Desire and Outlook 2007

I've just jumped from a Blackberry Storm 9500 to an HTC Desire although very happy with the phone I'm struggling to get my e-mails sent from Outlook 2007 to the Desire. I had the Blackberry set up so the e-mails from home would arrive at the handset about 5-6 seconds after entering the inbox. The Blackberry had two icons on the screen, one was a Vodafone e-mail address and the other was my personal e-mail through Outlook from my ISP, I know this was done via "push" but is there a way of setting the Desire to do the same or could I set up a g-mail account and have the e-mails sent into that on the handset?

E-mails will not be sent from Outlook to the phone. You have to retrieve them from the server where they are stored. Use the same settings as in Outlook.
