Looking for an iPhone app

Using an iPhone 3G.

I don't even know if the app I want even exists. But...

Is there an app which makes it such that when my phone is docked and connected to the computer (iTunes active), the lock function is inhibited and the display is on at all times?

An interesting link. And I see where they are coming from (what a flipping awful management-speak expression!) But it seems to rely on the autolock already being off?

I shall resign myself to accepting that it ain't going to happen the way I want. :-((
