Am getting hammered with costs of texting from UK to Irish Republic and was hearing about using the email client on your moby to send texts. Anyone expand on this??

and the name of the carrier in order to do this. Then you can send an email to the recipient's phone via an SMS gateway.

Once you know the carrier, run a Google search for '(name of carrier) SMS gateway'

Put the recipient's number in front of @ followed by the gateway address.
